Advisory Council Evaluation Committee The Comprehensive HIV Services Planning and Advisory Council (Advisory Council) Evaluation Committee has spent a good part of the first and second quarter developing and most of the second quarter and part of the third quarter submitting and compiling surveys to both HIV Consumers and HIV Providers throughout the state of Indiana.
completes FINAL Reports for
Consumer and Provider Surveys!
These Reports help take a snapshot of the current status of programs and what the greatest gaps (or needs) are which still need to be addressed and are not being serviced by HIV Providers for HIV Consumers.
The next step will be for the Advisory Council Planning Committee to take the results from both the HIV Consumer Survey and HIV Provider Survey and then create a Statement of Need and Comprehensive Plan. These documents will be submitted along with the state of Indiana's Application for 2010 Ryan White Funds to help show how the 2010 Ryan White Funds will be used to meet the HIV Services needs of HIV Consumers throughout the state.
You can view and download the 2009 HIV Consumer and Provider Results at the "Downloads" page or the "Evaluation Committee" page. If you have questions concerning the results, please contact the Evaluation Committee Chairperson, Dr. Carrie Foote, PhD.
The Indiana Consumer Advisory Board is sponsored by the Indiana State Department of Health and is a requirement for Indiana to receive federal funding for HIV Services through the Ryan White Act
