Subject: FDA to warn consumers taking anti-smoking medications of severe depression and suicidal ideation

I wanted to pass this link along even though many of
us have probably already heard about this concern.  Given the rates of smoking among people living with HIV and the fact that Indiana ADAP as well as ICHIA cover at least Chantix it is important to discuss this side effect in our attempt to reduce or eliminate the impact smoking has on all of us (so says a man struggling to quit).

Consumer Forum
"Learning and Living Well"

The Indiana Consumer Advisory Board  (CAB) will host the third in a series of Consumer Forums.  This Consumer Forum  will be held at the Primo Banquet and Conference Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

It is designed for HIV+ individuals in the Central Region of Indiana to provide information on health related concerns and how the Central Region of Indiana is performing in relation to Learning and Living Well,  and Care Coordination for HIV+ individuals. 

This is an opportunity for HIV+ individuals in the 
Central Region to meet their CAB Representatives.  This includes Districts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in Central Indiana.

If you live in the Central Region, you can locate and learn name of your Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) District Representative. 

This event is open to ALL individuals who are HIV+ in the Central Region, whether or not an individual is enrolled in Care Coordination. 

The event is FREE, but you must RSVP to Lisa Lloyd, Advisory Liaison for CAB at telloyd@isdh.in.gov. or by
calling Lisa at 317-233-7744.
